We have stayed at the Mesut Apartments on several occations, but the last time will be the last time! The Mesut used to operate a good restuarant, but that no longer is the case with it now being closed. The rooms are now falling into disrepair, with broken panes of glass on the internal doors, fridges not being very hygenic and general lack of maintenance. Whilst sitting in the living room, the sink literally fell through the worktop, as it had not been properly secured and only held in place by silicon sealant. The hotel manager requested payment for the damage, which was caused by bad workmanship, but when we got the Goldtrail rep involved, we insisted on a hotel change which we got as it was obvious that the damage had been caused by bad workmanship. I am surprised to see Goldtrail are still using the Mesut in 2010, so please be aware of their shortcomings.

we stayed at the mesut hotel in july.. it wasnt really that nice, we got a room in the corner and room was like camper beds we were under neath the bar and we couldnt really get much sleep as they were very loud .. we asked to get moved to a different room but they didnt move use until the following week the room we got moved to was very nice and clean made came everyday. hotel staff was very nice they made us laugh alot (tony and billy and robert)
it was a bit far from the town,we were taking the long way until a member of bar staff showed us the shorter way which was very nice of him but i wouldnt go back to it as we were ascared to open windows because we were getting bit by miskitos . we paid for air conditioning but wasnt really that healpful. if u weree t0 go to this hotel bring lemon candles with u!

mesut apartments were fine, basic but clean an certainly no cockroaches or any other insects, we were there july 2008 and found the place to be a relaxed compact family complex, if you needed anything you just had to ask! the people who worked there were very nice and helpful, the restaurant was fine as well, we ate there on a few occasions and couldn't complain, you certainly weren't harassed to eat there, if they asked you to but you said no then that was it. we made a lot of friends in the hotel and would certainly go back to see them!

kelly and zoe , we where there in july , very basic aprtments , but we loved it , private pool , food was nice , the staff were lovely , serdar and all the rest very helpful any thing u asked for they were happy to help u, whisky and raki, they were the pups name they had there i went back in september and they were so big , i would def go back to mesut im going a few times this summer coming hadf a great time there , and is centre to every where i recommend it xx see u soon guys

i see other ones were there in july same as us ,and said they seen all sorts of spiders and things , it musty of been in there dreams it was a great place basic but great for somewhere to get changed and sleep and the pool was great and our rooms were cleaned every day and clean towels ill be def going back 2 times this year and thats were ill stay see u all soon guys

Stay away from this one!-the apartments are an utter disgrace!-cockroach infested,filthy,the cooking facilities are non existent.one towel for two people changed once in two weeks,the hotel is overrun by Turkish locals who crowd the pool and sunbeds-guests complaints are ignored.Goldtrail do not have a visiting rep for this hotel and it shows!The restaurant is absolutely terrible,the british owner has two young pups which pee and crap in the restaurant while you are eating!-nice.Constant harrassment to eat at the restaurant meant running the gauntlet every time leaving or entering the apartments.Avoid this dump if possible-there are much better to choose from!
