This resort is clean the only thing that lets it down for cleanliness is the beach. There aren't enough bins on the beach itself and it is full of tab ends which is a shame. The beach is all shingle.I only went in the sea once because there was great big rocks in there so you need to wear shoes.Plenty of places to eat had good meals at all of them. some of our favourits were, Bella Mammas,Bombay Corner, Georges, casa del mamas. All these resturants come with a free sunset. It is the most beautifull sunsets as well. We liked gunisik down the main street for a kebab 3 TL and very good it was. Also down the main street but off a side road is a little shop called pastries and pies. if you want something simple for a change the lady who owns it is english and does all her own baking. if you go in there you have to have a piece of cheesecake and lemon meringue. how good.Theres the usual shops in calis like anywhere else in Turkey. You can get a water taxi to fethiye 10TL return pp. overall this was a nice laid back resort if you want to go on holiday and just relax and do nothing this is the place to go.

Callis beach is a fairly quiet resort but very relaxing for older people like ourselves. The beach is shingly but gives off a very welcoming breeze. Plastic shoes are a must for going in and out of the sea which is wonderfull once you're in.The taxi boat to Fethiye is very pleasant from where you can cath a bus to hisaronu and Oldeniz(about15 minutes) which is well worth a visit. As we normally go to Icmelar we found much less hassle here both on the beach and walking round the resort and would deffinatly go back.

I have been holidaying in Calis for 16years and have been
impressed with the improvements they have made.
The rubbish from the hotels is still a problem as it seems to pile for about 2 days before it is collected.
The beach is reasonably clean but there is room for improvement.
I will definately visit Calis again as I love its situation
and its friendly people.

Although we stayed at the end of the season their was plenty of eating houses still open and the food at ALL the places we visited was of a very high standard. Only downfall was the beach itself it was stoney.

Never Calis again. Have been to Turkey 7 times now. This place is the worse rip off ever. It is dirty and filthy. And for the tims in many years I have met Turkish people who were not friendly at all.
In Calis there is just nothing but a very filthy beach with dirty pebbles and cigaretbuds. The sunbeds are dirty, and no mattreses offered. You have to go and find one ourself. You have to pay 7 TL for this none service incl. un umbrella whether you want it or not.....
It is the worst ripp off I ever have experienced in Turkey. They should really be ashamed of themself. The beach itself is very dangerous with slippery stones and sharp stones in the water.
Never again. I was turned a bit off Turkey by this visit.
Sadly, if Turkey is turning into only a profit as Calis.

The only problem with the resort is the beach, although very clean, it was shingles and when at the waters edge the sea bed felt like it was sinking. Not great for my chidren, you need to purchase water shoes if you try the beach.
The rest of the resort was great, the people where really friendly and we would certainly return there.

Pleasant resort, nice bars and restaurants on sea front, many shops mainly sell the same merchandise though.

I have been visiting this resort for at least 12 years and enjoy myself more every time. Almost all of my family have also been visiting this resort for many years, some longer than I!!! All of the people within this resort and friendly and polite, and will go out of their way to ensure that you have a good and enjoyable holiday. There are many bars and restuarants within the vacinity, and you are guarenteed to find what you are looking for, from discos to karaoke to quiet meals. The beach is fabulous and clean with staff from the restuarants near the beach happy to serve you drinks, and they are more than happy to let you use their facilities.
I would definately recommend this resort to everyone, as they have something for every type of holiday maker, from families to elderly people, to young people looking for a good time.

Absolutely love calis beach. Have been staying in Calis for the last 17 years & wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. My kids love it here as much as we do & can't wait to come back. Always clean & friendly in the resort with plenty of entertainment for the whole family. Ranging from the aqua park to bars offering live entertainment, karaoke, & a few nightclubs should you feel need to have a good boogie. All bars & restaurants are child friendly. A few watersports can be found on the sand & shingle beach. Plenty of beds & brollies at a small charge.
