Food was excellent but was virtually the same every day.
We arrived at 5.00 on a Wednesday morning for a 7 day break and assumed that we would be entitled to 7 day bed, breakfast and evening meal. Our last evening on the Tuesday we were dismayed to find that the waiter came up to us during the meal (we were being collected at 8.15 for transit to airport) to tell us that we were not entitled to an evening meal, as our booking was from midday Tues - midweek Tuesday!! We had not even left the UK until the Tuesday evening of the week before. The manager was very abrupt with us, when we tried to state our case, as he had been, when we had spoke with him previously. However, the majority of the other staff were very friendly.
The pool sunbeds are very basic with no effective shade, though the pool is very clean and more than adequate.
The bedroom was very small and the bathroom very basic, poorly lit and could only take one person at a time. I would certainly not grade it as a 3+ star hotel and would not return there again. At best, it is 2 star.

This was our second visit to the Blue Rainbow and we were pleased on our arrival to be recognised by the staff. We arrived about 4.30 in the morning and were seated at a table and given a welcoming plate of snacks whilst our luggage was taken to our room for us. Breakfast and evening meals were basic, which is only to be expected at the prices you pay, but never the less they were well presented and the staff were very efficient and helpful. The view from our balcony overlooked the whole of the bay and right across to Marmaris. We were there for 17 days and throughout our stay the room was kept immaculately clean by the staff. Entertainment was non existant but who wants to stay in their hotel with all that Ichmeler has to offer at night. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again but only on B&B basis. It is a crime to sit in a hotel eating your evening meal when there are so many restaurants in the resort.

We were booked into the Elif, but for whatever reason(we still don't know why) we were put in the Blue Rainbow.
Maid service was very good. No hot water until 5pm each day, although this wasn't a major problem. Rooms basic but comfortable, although bathrooms very small.
Location of hotel was excellent, opposite a dance bar but the music was stopped at midnight. Hotel staff did not speak much English. Pool very clean, no real shallow end, which could be a problem with young children. Adequate amount of sunbeds although a bit basic. No entertainment as far as we were aware - we enjoyed the waiters' entertainment at the Lion Bar! We have booked again for 2005.

The Blue Rainbow Hotel is a stones throw from Icmeler Beach and is well located for all the bars and restaurants.
The Hotel has a large pool and gets the sun all day.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the maid service is daily.
The staff are very friendly and helpfull as is the norm for Turkey.
The hotel affords excellent views across the bay of Icmeler out toward Marmaris and there are pictures in the photo galleries of this.
I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
