Unsure if it's okay to comment on the Rhodes Apartments here, as we weren't actually staying in them. We were staying, as we have for fice years, in the nearby Tuncay apartments, owned by the brother of Yumeral who owns the Rhodes apartments.
Because our daughter and her family were staying in the Rhodes, we spent a lot of time there, and can't begin to say how welcome we were made.
Tolga is a complete star, and we loved the happy times we spent chatting to him.
At the minute our other daughter is spending time in Icmeler and Tolga has been a true friend to her.
We will be staying there next time we visit Icmeler (sadly his Uncle Mustapha is closing his apartments when the season ends)
Because our daughter and her family were staying in the Rhodes, we spent a lot of time there, and can't begin to say how welcome we were made.

Third year to these apartments and all we can say is that we were extremely disappointed. We have highly recommended these apartments to friends and family in the past but unfortunately will not be doing so in the future. We booked a 3 week break this year, along with some friends we meet up with, as we had enjoyed Turkey so much in the past. It was more expensive and the exchange rate was poor compared to previous years, therefore we all did have to make a few morning and lunch meals for ourselves in our self catering apartments (which I must say the equipment is extremely basic). This seemed to be frowned upon by the owners of The Rhodes and from then on, we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable for the duration of our stay. Unfortunately it seems that the friendliness we received in previous years was obviously false and would only be be directed at the people spending the most money at that time, do they have to be so obvious. Also the food at The Rhodes was not up to the standard of the past few years, the same good chef Inter was still working there but it seems they were trying to cut costs on the quality of the food in our opinion. The apartments themselves are the best around with a lovely pool, the pool area and rooms are clean but the towels and bed linen is not changed as regularly as it could have been.

Appartments at the rhodes where very clean, maid comes in daily sheets and towels where changed regularly. Pool area was kept very clean, although there is no shallow end to the large pool. we ate in the bar a few times and found the food there very good. It is a 10 min walk into icmeler town centre, or taxi for about 5 lira.
Tolga who's family own the appartments and his side kick Inta are fantastic they would go out of there way to make you happy, although they never hassle you to stay at the bar for food, they are pleased to see you for a drink later in the evening. When they get dancing they are the only entertainment you need. if all appartments are taken they put on a turkish night, with only 16 appartments it doesn't take long to fill them in high season. we will definitely be going back to the rhodes next year but for 3 weeks instead of 2.

From day one we felt part of the family,our 3 week stay was excellent.We had room 202 with a pool view.
The apartment was spotless and the cleaner works very hard.
Tolga and his family looked after us very well and Intal kept us amused as well as fed he is such a good chef.

We had a fantastic week with 9 family and friends at the Rhodes apts. The rooms were spotless and consisted of bedroom, shower/toilet, and lounge/kitchen. They are family run apartments with a lovely pool and bar and nothing was too much trouble.
We can't praise enough Tango, Intel and Mamma who were always smiling and helpful and did their best to make sure we had a great time.
The location is set back about 10 mins walk to the sea front but is close to all the bars shops and restaurants which are plentiful and all welcoming and friendly.
We met and made friends with a lot of the locals in and around the bars and restaurants and unlike some other resorts in Turkey they hardly pester you in fact any places that do will get closed down for a few days.
We are booking again for next year this time for 2 weeks and would recommend this place to anyone especially families and couples.

I managed to get a really good deal here because I know the owners son. Though my room was basically in the attic of the apartment block. I could see the mountains from my balcony which was nice.
The pool here is fantastic and I know that some local people always use this pool because its nice and big, clean and relaxed atmosphere.
The food served at the bar is basic and I wouldn't eat here. The drinks are quite expensive too. I think because of lack of entertainment the bar stays quiet at night and so prices are high.
The location is excellent mind you as its so relaxing in the day, I can't complain about that.
I was made to feel a bit uncomfortable when I went out till the early hours and came back to find the watchman who would shine his torch in my face and grumble something in Turkish at me.
