arrived 2am after a 3 hour transfer from dalaman. 3 different cars were used. on arrival we were shown to our room 702, reception toook 1 case and left my husband to carry 2nd - this should not have been a big problem but was 100 marble stairs to the room. the room was ok, I have stayed in better but bed was clean, and shower worked so not too bad. Breakfast was o.k. but was amused that breakfast waiters would suddenley take food away for them selfs and go out the back and eat, have been to Turkey 10 times before and have never seen this. Swimming pool was far to small for hotel, only 6 loungers pushed against the wall of the pool, so you had to keep getting up if someone wonted to sit down, only did this once. dont try to get a drink or lunch by the pool as the waiters dissapear!!! private beach bit had wonderful views but could be dangerous, many steps, with rough seas over lapping loungers, (certainly not for the very young or old) you could get drinks there but you had to go to the waiters, they certainly never came to you. Hotel had no entertainment and unfortunatly in the evening the bar once again had no feeling of welcome. I feel this hotel was let down by staff, just so laid back that they could not be bothered, the stairs to the bedroom prooved even too much for us so it was a major operation with a tick list to ensure that you did not forget anything when you left the room as during the day with the temp in the 30 you could not physical go up and down, it was far easier if something was forgoton to go to the nearest shop and buy!!!! Have stayed in other hotels in Kas and this was the worst, staff lazy, as with most hotels in Turkey its the staff that can make or break your holiday, this is the only year that we did not tip the staff
