Stayed at Sun City for ten nights, as Russell said in an earlier review if you do not enjoy it here its your own fault.
Yes we could have found things to moan about if we had looked hard enough, the only critisism we had was with the bar service and staff who were without exception the slowest and most disinterested I have ever come accross.
In addition the all inclusive local brands of spirits only covered raki,gin, brandy and vodka. Moan over. We would definatley return.

The location of this hotel is excellent, being very close to the main shopping, restaurants and bars. The accommodation surroundings are lovely with lots of trees and plants.
The entertainment team worked their socks off and there was always something that you could participate in should you wish to.
The food - although there was a wide choice and it was very tasty, did get a bit monotonous because it was all quite similar to the previous evenings, and we did eat out a couple of times. Plus, if you want to get a big cooked breakfast you have to go out of the hotel too.
Sun beds were a problem and as someone mentioned earlier, although the hotel had a sign up saying no towels before 9am, no one enforced it, so be prepared to get up early.
There are no cocktails free on this all inclusive although there was a 50% off night which we took full advantage of. The are four locally produced spirits available and the vodka did taste a bit odd and was quite weak. In fact you could probably drink them all night and not feel much different.
The pool area is the only area where you can sunbathe and relax as there are no grassy areas and it can seem a bit claustrophobic. Also at times it did seem as if there were too many people for the facilities available.
Although I did enjoy this holiday and there were some positive points, I would not say that this was the best All Inclusive package that I have been on and do not think that I would return.
However, all that said, just because it wasn't the type of hotel for me, does not necessarily mean that you won't enjoy it. If you like accommodation with 98% of holidaymakers being families with children and teenagers, then this would be the place for you. Myself, I prefer a hotel that has a more even percentage of families, groups, couples, and older people.

On arrival we were very impressed. Our luggage was taken to our room for us by one of the staff with a trolly. The rooms were set in small blokes as opposed to a large hotel.
Room was very nice and was relieved that it was not a basement one as had heard bad things about these. Hotel was always clean, staff always round the pool clearing up.But be warned that the area round the pool is very slippy...saw quite a few fall over.
The food was really nice..lots of really tender meat and loads of choice of salad but as always by the end it does get a bit repetative. Wine and squash was on tap in the dining room with a small bar in the corner for other drinks.
Drinks were a bit limited..only gin, vodka, brandy and raki as well as wine and beer. The white wine was nice but the red was like vinegar...yukkk!!!!....I drank gin and tonic and wine...both were nice and very strong.
Entertainment was cheesy but a laugh...they tried really hard, bless them. Most of the staff were really friendly but as had been said before the bar staff are so slow and do tend to ignore you...don't know why because when they do serve you they are really nice. Location of the hotel is really good, only 5 Min's from the town centre.

Cleanliness - Hotel and staff efforts are excellent for both rooms and amenities (guests could help to further inprove though). We had pool view rooms in block 13 and these were (in my opinion) the best located on site; ace views / well presented / secure / well insulated against outside noise (if you want some peace!) (***note:- on departure day we arranged a courtesy room for late pick up, which was a ground floor room in block 5 and nowhere near as good as block 13 - courtesy room cost

Just returned from a two week break in Sun City and am I glad to be home. I have to agree with all the last comments about this place and to add a few more.
We arrived after a 6 hour delay only to be told no drinks were available, then when we finally got to our room, it was hidden round the back with no view of the pool which is what we asked for.
The food was rubbish, so was the entertainment, and if it wasn't for the fact we only slept at the place I would have gone mad.
In the end this all inclusive cost us alot more money because we had to eat out all the time.
I would just like to say I will never go back to Sun City ever again and will advise all my friends not to also.

Our first time in Turkey! We arrived at the Sun City, very tired, about 1.30am, after a stressful day's travel on the first day of a major terror alert and severe baggage restrictions.
A porter took us to our room which was in Block 7, close to the pool and snack bar, and with a garden-facing balcony. It was quite noisy until about 2am with teenagers hanging around the kids play area just near our room.
Although there were only three of us, our room could have slept five - we had two single beds pushed together into a lovely big double (all to myself), bunk beds for the kids, and a sofa-bed under the window which we used to put all our bits and bobs on, because there wasn't enough storage.
The wardrobes were tiny, with a total of about twelve hangers for three of us for 2 week's clothes, and the drawers were very small and not deep enough to put in more than a few items of underwear.
The air-conditioning was lovely, although rather noisy. I turned it down when we went to bed, and left it on full-blast the rest of the time.
I had to have a new safe twice during our 2 weeks. The first time, the bolts wouldn't line up properly, and the second time there was an electrical fault. On both occasions the problems was sorted within 20 minutes by a charming chap who didn't speak a word of English but obviously knew his technical stuff! The safe cost

Just returned from Sun City after two great weeks.
Beautiful hotel in a great location with some fantastic views.
Rooms were very clean and of a fair size with everything you need. Towels and bedding changed regularly.
All staff are very helpful and friendly and work very hard to keep the hotel grounds spotless. As mentioned before in another review, majority of bar staff give great service besides one or two who are miserable and do take their time to serve you (bearing in mind that they do work approx 14 hour shifts). Great service, hairdryer in room broke so reported it to reception only to find the maintenance man had only got to my room before I did and fixed it in a matter of minutes.
Food great with lots of variety.
Entertainment staff work very hard with activities throughout the day although evening entertainment not much.
The private beach is very nice with the use of pedalos and canoes and whilst you are out on the water, huge turtles keep popping there heads out of the water.
I have only one moan, which is of course the sun beds. Need I say more. We had a great holiday and would definitely return to Sun City.

We were here last 2 weeks of school holidays the 1st week was very busy and the only complaint was the usual the sunbed suitation there doesn't seem to be enough for the amount of people that stay there.
We enjoyed the food so did the kids always something different. never had a problem with the bar staff.
Room itself was ok kept clean storage is a problem especially for 4 people for 2 weeks.
Entertainment team work very hard and seem to enjoy there job! Location was good about 2 minute walk to resort and 5 minute walk to beach.

If you don't have a great holiday at this place then its your own fault. I could not really fault this hotel apart from us being in front of the adults pool and for some reason every time someone new came the had to have a swim at 3 am after a few drinks. The entertainment was not bad and I tried to join in most days for a laugh. The evening entertainment was good family fun and I do recommend the Latin dancers and Break dancing night. The food was good and there was always plenty.
