we went here in 1996 and had the best holiday ever.Farruh(fred as we called him)and his parents were running it and were so friendly.On arrival at mekik freds mam gave us each a blanket as a cool night was expected and she was right.a freak weather front came in and it rained for about 2 hours solid.in the morning we were treated to a breakfast that would choke a donkey(excellent)all the rooms had everything you needed and the cleaning staff were better than kim n aggie.

Hotel was clean and tidy.

In our apartment we were provided with a 2 circle electric oven, kettle and all utensils needed. We had clean towels everyday and our bed sheets changed every 3 days as well and also the whole apartment hovered.
We were self catering but often had food at the bar down stairs it was very good especially the chips (thanks Hassan)
The location was ok but we had a 5 minute journey on the local bus into Hisaronu town.
The staff were great they really joined in with everybody and would have water fights around the pool if it ever got too quiet.
We would definitely visit this hotel again and plan to do so as it was only our first time there.

we had 2 days out of 7 with no electricity or water which means no toilets /showers etc the owner said a major catastrophy had occurred with an external transformer but the other hotels had no problems the towels were changed once while we were there apart from this we have no complaints but why have a generator that does not work,put a little cash back in get the thing working

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Situated at the foot of the mountains, in a quiet location, this would be ideal for a couples holiday. Great also for kids.
The rooms were cleaned and hoovered on a daily basis and the bed sheets were changed every 3 days, fresh towels replaced daily. Cooking facilities included toaster, cooker fridge and a kettle. Also a hair dryer and a stand up fan in the bedroom which came in handy as there were no air con.
A poolside bar with friendly staff, games facilities ie: pool and darts.
Hassan makes a mean breakfast & is great with kids. The owner Farruh is very good at throwing you in the pool too when it gets a little quiet!
A welcoming hotel and only 5 mins bus ride away from the beach. Thanks for making us feel welcome, it will certainly be a holiday to remember!

we have been to mekik apts for the last three years and each time has got better, and we will continue to keep going. the owner ( ferruh ) and his family have become very good friends of ours and the really go out of there way to make you feel welcome and give you a fantastic holiday

What a great holiday! Can't wait to get back there this year. Ferruh, his family & staff made us very welcome. Not only did Hasan cook a mean breakfast, he also played his part in keeping the "Kids" entertained with Ferruh (Big Kids included).
The rooms were kept clean and the bedding changed freqently.
Provided in the apartments were a kettle, hairdryer and a Floor fan which was very much needed.
There was a Pool table in the bar area.
Ferruh organised a BBQ with traditonal Belly dancing with audience participation.
