The Askoc is located in the Sirkeci / Eminonu area of Istanbul, just behind the Sirkeci train station (Famous for the Orient Express)virtually everything is with in an easy walking distance & its situated on the tramvey (Tramline) so its very accessable.
The Hotel iself was very clean, a nice sized room & bathroom with a full sized bath & shower. i was on the first floor, so the view i had was pretty poor (The train station) but the higher you get the better the view over the Bosphorus.
The noise from the station was loud a few times a day, especially in the morning rush hour, but it wasnt to disruptive.
The rate i had included breakfast, which was typicla Turkish with all the usual breads, meats, cheeses etc & was very good. there is a restaurant in the hotel, but i didnt eat there, the prices were very reasonable tho.
I would definatley stay at the Askoc again, mainly because of the location, for me it was perfect!
