Best Western President Hotel

We stayed at the Best Western President, New York for 3 nights in May 2007, in 2 double rooms. The hotel is located only a half block off Times Square, therefore in an excellent position.`

The rooms were readily available at official check-in at 15-00 pm and were well serviced and clean. The staff in all departments were pleasant and courteous. At the price,

I doubt if this hotel can be beaten in central Manhattan and we will definitely use it again should we return to the Big Apple.

Great Location (West 48th and 7th Avenue) just off Times Square, so loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel has a small bar, and a cafe which looked like it did a nice breakfast for $6.95 but we never ate here. We wanted a no frills hotel at a good rate with a central location and the Best Western President filled all our requirements.

Rooms were standard NY size but you couldn\'t have swung even a very small cat around the bathroom. The shower worked well though and water pressure was very good. The room itself had a cofee maker, a iron and ironing board, a hairdryer and a TV with 32 channels.
