Didn't get much sleep. A wedding party arrived very late and occupied the whole floor. They were very noisy and not very considerate. Slamming doors, kids running around till after midnight.
Apart from that the room was clean and tidy. Nice shower/bath and the bed was quite comfy.
Television worked ok, not a lot of channels though. There was only one towel and a tiny bit of soap but this was replaced on a daily basis.
The receptionist was very friendly and gave advice on what to do in the surrounding area. Didn't try the food so cannot comment on that.
Overall I would stay there again as it is good value for money.

We stayed here for just the one night, while attending a concert in Cardiff. The hotel is right in the middle of Cardiff in the main shopping street, so it's location is perfect for all the attractions in Cardiff. The check in process was smooth, and the receptionist very pleasant. As expected the room was a decent size, with a wardrobe and drawer space. The bathroom was small, but did have a shower. No toiletries were provided, but the towels were white and fluffy. Breakfast was available at the price of £7.95.
The downsides to this hotel were that some of the rooms facing the front did experience some noise from revellers, but it wasn't overly noisy. There was also no room available for leaving luggage for a couple of hours on the day of departure. For a cheap overnight stay, we would use this hotel again.
