My partner and i have had the most terrible time in corfu and would never return. One of the finer parts of our stay was the food as the chefs obviously took pride in what they prepared. The location of Sidari was very English and had sewage pouring from every pipe i was not a pleasant smell. Outside our hotel Sidari Village was very dirty and the pipe by our room was leeking brown sewage. The reps were informed but did nothing to try and rectify this problem. Our room was left unlocked by the maids to which the reps said would be sorted out but resulted in us not being given any clean linen for our weeks hoilday. We met with other holiday makers, the night we met a single mother of our group was assulted by another male guest which the manager did nothing about apart from throwing her down the stairs. After the reps took 3 days to deal with this situation and after other woman stated they did not feel safe at the resort the male was removed. The managment however also wanted the victim out, and when he asked me why i complained i replied as i did not feel safe, the managers reply was that if i didn't keep out of it i would be evicted as "it is ok to sometimes hit women i should remember that" The reps entertainment was limited and sometimes they did not show up at all. The complex is dirty, threatning, unsafe and the entertainment that did exist for an hour a day (if you are lucky) was directed only to children.

Hi, just got back from the Sidari Village hotel. My partner and I went without the children so it was bliss no matter where we were!!!! We found the apartments very large with a wonderful view over the bay. It is a bit of a treck up a long hill to all the rooms but there is a little mini bus that runs up and down all day until midnight.
We stayed all inclusive and we have been to much better hotels offering this service. However, we had a real bargain getting the holiday so didnt mind too much and ate out a few times in the week. This was very cheap - around

Sidari village was a great hotel for our 2 week family holiday. The hotel and surroundings were very clean when we were there, staff always cleaning around the childrens pool and play area.
The staff were very friendly and very attentive to our 3 year old son. The food at the hotel was very much edible (and thats from a fussy eater) ok we took our son to mcdonalds a couple of times.
Location was ok if you were on the ground level, we were at the top but the mini bus helped. Entertainment when we were there was great Dino, Kim and Lee were great entertainers during the day and at night time and tried to get everyone involved.

We booked our holiday over the internet and were a little dubious when reading some previous reviews with regard to the steep hill!. We had nothing to worry about, we rang and requested a low floor, and got one of the blocks at the other side of the pool area.
The room was nice, big and clean.
The only downfall was the variety of food, albeit it was all very nice, there was a lot of pork cooked in a variety of ways.
There is a snack bar by the pool if you don't want to go into the restaurant for lunch, but the choice is very limited, chips, plain cheese pizza or cheese and onion pie, ham and cheeese toasties.
We went toward the middle of September and the pool wasn't heated. The water was quite cold and our son (2 at the time) wouldn't go in the water. We ventured down to the beach some days which is short walk (only about 5 minutes), the water was much warmer there and quite shallow for some distance.
I would definitely go to this hotel again. It was good value for money.

We got this holiday mega cheap it was last minute but we swear it's the best holiday we ever had.
The hill was a bit annoying but luckily our apartment was in the first block. We arrived there at night and were worried what we would wake up to in the morning as all we could see was black mountains, I even rang my boyfriend saying I wanted to come home!. The morning came and we were greeted with the most beautiful scenery we had ever seen. The mountains, the sea, the clear blue sky, we loved it all.
The accommodation was ok the shower was a bit shabby and so was the kitchen but I don't think we ever used it! For what we paid it could have been a hundred times worse.
We found the entertainment a laugh as it was aimed at children but it was cute watching them dance lol. We went into town a few times but thought it was expensive but all in all it was a good holiday.
I'm going back there again in May 06 with my son and my boyfriend so we'll see if it's still good.

I stayed in the Polexinia studios with my mates and found the staff not very friendly. They were always locking at us as if we had done something wrong and thought that we were stupid by handing us the wrong change. I would not go back to theese apartments but Sidari itself was amazing
The nightlife was good, I recommend Ceasers and Mint night clubs for anyone going

Basically, what we expected from the hotel. We hated the holiday, but it was more to do with the awful resort than a basic, typical Greek hotel.
