I have visited this hotel a total of 5 times over a period from 1997 to 2002, due in part to accessibility for wheelchair users. Nice location with good views over the sea or mountains.
Some rooms can be hot but most have good ventilation because of the breeze blowing off the sea, rooms over the bar area can be noisy, also has several 'disabled rooms' with well equipped bathrooms.
Food is very good except perhaps on the occasional themed night.
Aircraft noise is slight, in spite of the location near the end of the airport runway, as aircraft approach or depart over the sea.
The beach is across from the hotel, originally a main road but now a pedestrian promenade, however the beach is often contaminated with effluent I guess from Arrecife just up the coast, nice to look at but take care near the waterline and in the sea.
A nice base for touring the island.
I always found the staff helpful.
Pool is a large freeform pool split into three, one deep section, a shallow children
