Had 10 days in Es Cana ( as posted earlier) then we moved along the coast to finish off the hol. Stayed at the Mediterraneo , small back street hotel but fine for a few nights, and only a short 2-3 minute walk from Calle San Vicente ( street of restaurants) . Spent a lot of the time around the Marina , plenty of bars and restaurants , used The Mirage a lot as they had big screens for the football and a varied menu to suit every one, never had to wait long on service for food or drinks even when the England game was on. Also popped in the Queen Vic a few times as the have excellent air -conditioning on those hot sticky nights, and friendly staff as always. For a change and a chance to mix with the locals you cannot beat Bar Cosmi on a busy corner but a great place for a nightcap, and the boss loves to get out a huge flagon of Hierbas to pass around the customers. If you like to people watch the Athenea on the sea -front is the place to be, my wife says they have the best toilets on the island. To eat out you must go to Daffers , with an early bird menu of just 12.50 euros with plenty of choices ( I will add a proper review in the restaurant section) all in all a superb short stay any questions just ask away ...cheers ..Paddy
