How many people could you expect a villa to accomodate?
We are thinking of doing a large family holiday next year, this being our now older children with our grand children. This could mean something like 10 people (possibly a few more, as details aren't finalised).
The destination hasn't been talked or decided on yet but if I get my way I want to go back to Cyprus somewhere near to Pernera.
Could I reasonably expect to get a villa there for so many people or would it have to be something else?
What sort of price would it be?
Would it work out cheaper to stop in a hotel in rooms ?
what about apartments ? how would they work out ?

I have looked into this as well, and for around £1000 (depending on the time of year) you can get a large villa to accommodate this number of people. Have a look at http://www.holiday-rentals.com. They seem good, and you deal with the actual owners of the properties.

Hello Steve. I would agree with the last comment but I think you may find this interesting our property is on holiday rentals it sleeps 6 to 8 but in addition we know the owners of the neighbouring property virtually the same as ours, there for you could accommodate 16 people for less than £1000 per week in July August 2006 and a lot less at other times please see http://www.freewebs.com/lukeallgas/ or http://www.holiday-rentals.com/index.cfm/property/50318.cfm to view our property. I would also sugest looking at the Icmeler review on this site if you are interested you can't beat it for a family holiday.

I have stayed 3 times in a James villa and I know they do 5 bedroomed villas as we had one in April in Nerja
