good advice ,,we always use support stockings on flights to goa ,,turkey we dont bother ,,but this year our daughter will be 25 weeks pregnant flying to turkey ,,so i will be telling her to wear them ..i was going to lend her mine but midwife told her to go to boots and get measured first,i wouldnt have thought of this ,thought they all the same ,, looks like they not ,,best people get advice first xxxx jan

yes you should get measured or measure yourself for the DVT socks. Mind you I wore them and still got a DVT...did the worst thing and fell asleep on the flight something I never usually do on a flight (even 12 hour ones).

opps i always try and fall asleep on a long haul .and was hoping to on a night flight to turkey next friday too.now you really got me worried :cry:

from what I've been advised by my consultants long periods of sleep on longhaul flights are not that good an idea...better to take short naps and have periods of activity.
