nosivad,
As cazzholly mentions, a free transfer refers to transferring your booking from one flight to the next without their usual charges. It's not in reference to land transfers between airports. You'll have to pay for that yourself.

As Easyjet is a low cost airline, these are some of the things they don't provide when things go wrong. If you missed your flight for example, I can't see why the airline should provide a taxi from one airport to the next to get you on to an alternative flight if it's not their fault. A free transfer is good of them! If it was a late inbound aircraft (Easyjet) that caused you to miss your flight for example, and providing you left sufficient time between flights, for example 90 minutes to allow for delays, they may pay for a taxi in that instance but you'd have to fight for it.

you've missed nosivad's point - it is their fault! People booked in good faith and easyjet have now scrapped the routes for commercial motives. They haven't been banned by any government, there is no bad weather etc. etc..
When they get round to formally cancelling the flights people within 14 days of travel will be entitled to transport to the alternative airport and compensation for any delay at destination, it'll be interesting how many get their legal rights.
at least now i see(as of today) if you try to book a flight from east midlands after the 31st december, a warning does come up advising you it might not take place, which it didn't before, but they will still take your booking and monies.
When will the newEasyjet timetable come out? I am wanting flights from Newcastle for next August. Thanks
Dont know about this year but last year I booked the day they were released from Newcastle and it was the 12th November. I think its about the same time every year.
Thanks not long to go till then. All the other flight only seem so expensive, was thinking of getting the train down to Manchester to save £130.00 each for our flights.
1] any idea what hand allowance i may get ? and bag size,?
2] is check in procedure the same as everyone else?

Easyjet Apply No Weight Restrictions To Hand Luggage, However You Have To Be Able To Lift It Into The Overhead Lockers Yourself, And Sizes Are 55x40x20cm.
Check In Procedure Is Much The Same As Everyone Else, You Normally Get Check In Desks For All Flights Combined, So You Can Join Any Queue
Not Much Else You Need To Know Realy, But If There Is Anything Else Then Just Post

Check in was the same as usual.
I was really happy for our first EJ flight and will definitely book with them again.

Easy jet check in normally have lots of desks open & you can use all the check in desks doesn't matter where you're flying too. Have flown with them many times with no probs. Food on board is very expensive, & often fairly restricted. Have a great time.

Printing boarding passes - does anyone know if we get more than one attempt to print out our passes as our printer is playing up at the moment - sometimes it prints and sometimes it doesn't.
Thanks
Jean
JeanM,
Hi, I printed out my easyjet boarding pass online and it printed over 2 pages, is that what its suppost to be like? its got the gate copy bit on a second page. in print preview it was shrink to fit and i dont want to make it any smaller in case the barcode wont work.
nickappel,
Its ok now, i used the live chat function on their website and they said that many people have the same problem - as long as all the words are visible and the bar code hasn't been cut off its fine!
Jean
I have booked flights to Marrakech 1st January 2010 (flight 8895) returning 8th January 2010 (flight 8896).
I have paid for speedy boarding.
Can anyone give me any information on the planes we will be travelling on and tips on where to sit?
Also - am I right in thinking that no drinks/snacks are provided on EasyJet flights, and if so do they allow you to take your own on board?
