How do you get you avatars to move?
Mine was animated on the host website, but its not now that I've put it on my profile. What have I done wrong?

Hi Elaine,
When you saved your avatar to your hard disk drive it appears you used the wrong format. Your avatar is showing as a static picture (PNG) rather than a GIF image, which is usually animated.
If you post the link to the website you found the picture on, I can guide you as to how you get it animated.

I would just like to thank you for your 'sticky' regarding Atvars, I followed your instructions to the letter and guess what! My Atvar appeared like magic. I am an older but perserveering computer user, It takes a bit of time for new technology to sink in, but with a good tutor I can get there. My next project is to make the eye blink, I have already done the 5 Gifs required for the blink, but now I am knackered! I don't know what to do next. (P.S. Mrs Tez thinks I am brilliant!)

i'm trying to get a new avator. someone has very kindly done one for me but it is just too big ( 100 whatevers instead of 90!!). i've tried to shrink it as per http://www.gifworks.com but i just can't get that to work for me.
are you able to resize it. please don't change my avator yet as i want to see how small it is first. thanks. this is the link to the new one

It is within the limits required by this site. 52 x 90 pixels, 14040 bytes.
When I enter the URL in the box and press submit, I get a message telling me the url URL is invalid. Any ideas?

Just checked the URL and I can not see any problems why the system shouldn't accept it.
Could you please try again and let me know if you still encounter a problem.
