Hi Spike, I've often seen them towing cars away in Beni. Incidentally where were you parked? If there were no restrictions surely they wouldn't have towed it away. Was it just further up from the Ocas? If so, we witnessed 2 cars been towed away from there in June whilst we were staying at the Pelicanos
Sorry to hear that you got stung for €123 that's all you you needed at the end of your holiday.

Hi. Yes it was past the Ocas, straight over the main road , up the hill I think second on the left after that. Well off the beaten track. There were definitely no road markings or lines and I was quite safely parked. The fine was annoying but it was the sheer panic when I saw it missing that caused me most distress.
Hi Spike9, just returned from Denia last night and the very same thing happened to me. I have an apartment in Denia and often park out side it and on this occasion had parked there all week and on the last night we returned from a night out and ours was gone to and i totally agree with you there are no road markings what so ever in fact i park in the same spot often. Think they must be doing a blitz or just need to get in some extra revenue.

Hi. exactly the same thing happened to us last year in Tenerife, no warnings at all from hotel we were staying in(and they only removed tourist cars, not locals).Felt like we had been robbed!Put us right off Tenerife.

Be careful on the M de Campo in Denia. I was towed away on a Sunday morning in November - in low season but the road was being pedestrianised for Sunday morning family promenading.
