My birthday! Well I'm back on the 9th so I'll post a review then.

we went Ephesus last september(day trip on cruise)
it did get a bit crowded ..and HOT but well worth effort, make sure take plenty of water
and your camera!!

We did the Ephesus/Pamukale (forgive spelling) 2 day trip from Olu last year.
Ephesus was very hot & crowded and unfortunately our "guide" was really boring. Glad we can say we've been there but much preferred Pamukale - really enjoyed it - definitely the better of the 2 days.
Thought it was too far to travel from Olu though. Had an overnight say and our hotel was dire! We were really pleased to return to the Karbel and definitely won't be venturing that far afield this year. Day trips are great but overnight's a definite no-no for us we've decided.

who did you do your trip with

My husband and I done this trip last year, it was booked by an agent at the top of the town and we opted for the over night say in the 4/5* hotel, the bus journey was very very long (bring a book) our guide was very good with English tho was a bit of a boar on Ephusus, also Ephusus was very hot so bring something to cover your head. hen we arrived at the 4/5* hotel what a joke it was nice, buffet style meal on time to hit the local town, up nice and earley nxt morning to go to cotton castle, this made th trip after a few hours there it was back on the bus for the long trip home... stopping at a onex factoy and a gold factory, lucky no carpet factory, I would recomend this trip but beware it is long and the food isn't great!!
try the Jeep Safari ~ well worth it and great fun!! (we done most of the trips over 2 years)
