I like both.
If we can't get decent beds by the childrens pool, we'll go to the beach and get beds on the beach.
In Egypt last year, the beach was deserted and there were empty beds everywhere. This year we're going back to Egypt, different hotel, but they have double swinging sunbeds on the beach, so will probably have a few days down on the beach.

Depends where we are...if in the Algarve then its round the pool at the villa...if we're by the Andaman Sea then its the beach

well we prefer the pool , no sand in your toes and we can keep an eye on the kids more too
