I stayed there 11 years ago. Great apartments in a great position. However, if you check their website http://www.alvormar.com it does state that the pool is saltwater.
Thank you very much for that link. Narrowly escaped a disaster there as we once stayed in a hotel with seawater pool and my sons hated it in spite of liking the real sea!
