Can't answer that but can recommend the Pingo Doce in Tavira centre, (Largo José Joaquim Jara) , east side of the river. At ground level it's slightly hidden by a row of palm trees, it's close to the river between the old buildings and the big new bridge. There's also a Lidl next to Tavira railway station on the west side of the town centre.

I assume you are driving from Faro airport to Tavira.
There is a huge Jumbo hypermarket at the Forum Algarve, about five minutes from the airport on the main road into the city. After that you can turn off and rejoin the N125 for Tavira.

There aren't any large Jumbo type places nearer Quarteira and Vilamoura than the one in Faro, which is about 15 minutes drive.
Other than that, in the opposite direction along the N125 you have the Algarve Shopping Mall just before Guia. Beware though that the Continente hypermarket store there is closed in the afternoon* on Sundays and holidays during the winter. That one is about 10 - 15 minutes drive also and is probably a bit easier to get to. There is a cinema, bowling alley and numerous shops. Next door is the Retail Park with furniture stores and factory outlets. There is a massive Leroy Merlin DIY centre opposite.
* so far as I am aware. The website does not give current store opening hours. I don't go there very often but it is open 10am to 9pm at least during the week and on Saturdays.
