Can anyone advise where the Garden Lago Apartments (timeshare) are situated in Alcudia. I have heard Alcudia is very commercialised. I don't mind this if we can get away from it and find quiet places and good quality restaurants. If we go it will be at the end of June/beg July for a week. We will have a hire car.

The apartments are off the main road Avenida Tucan, which is where you will find the Hidropark water park, and next to the Lago Menor in Puerto Alcúdia. They are about 10 minutes walk from the main tourist area - the Bellevue area - a good 25 minutes to the beach and then some more to the actual port and also to the old town. Location-wise, it is fairly quiet I guess, compared to some other parts. In Alcúdia itself, there are some nice quiet spots, especially to the north of the old town - Barcares, Mal Pas - and some good restaurants of various sorts (more so in the port area and the old town).
