You need to check http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/ . You don't say where from but First Transpennine said at 12:30 today that they will not be running Glasgow or Newcastle to Manchester Airport trains on Saturday. If this is still true the Nationalrail Journey Planner is currently wrong as it still shows them!
been looking at website, going from Thornaby does not say any cancellations yet
TPEs own website said the Middlesborough - Airport trains would run.
