We have just got back from Santa Ponsa and stayed at the Jardin del Mar. Its an aparthotel so the accommodation is an apartment but there are all the facilities of a hotel. There is loads of entertainment nearby which finishes at 11.30 so its not noisy. It is about 10 mins walk to the sandy beach but the pool area at the hotel is lovely and there is a childrens play area.

Jutlandia Apartments would be ideal for you.Great entertainment day and night.Very clean & air conditioned.Not far from beach.We went last July and are returning in August.

Can be found in First Choice and Panorama brochures but are very popular with return visitors so book early.

Have a look at http://www.acorn.es. They have 3 hotels in Santa Ponsa: Pionero, Santa Ponsa Park & playa Santa ponsa that are all the same road. Looking at the website it does say family rooms are avaliable. The hotels are about 2 mins from the beach and shops. It shouldnt be noisy after 1am as they are well away from the nightclubs. I stay in the Hesperia Playas de Mallorca which is on the next road along and noise is never a problem. I had a look but that hotel doesn't seem to accomodate 2 adults & 2 Children. All 3 of the hotels seem very popular and I believe you can share the pools (dont quote me on it though).

The Acorn hotels family rooms are actually 2 adjoining rooms, so depending on the ages of your children you may or may not want them in a separate room.
