Daughter comes back on Thursday night from 2 weeks in Kardenema, although she didn't go 18-30.

im afraid im not sure where ur apartments are or what they're like but you can be pretty sure that they're basic!! I went to Kardemena last september and whilst it wasnt on an 18-30 hol our apartments were not up to much. But hey, look on the brightside, you wont be spending long in them and any time that you do spend there is asleep! Not many of the apartments in Kardemena have their own pool but there are some communial pools that you can use (such as the Kool pool) and they dont charge but you have to buy drinks/food from them.

What we found was much better is to pay for a sun lounger on the beach and then you can get food/drink from the surrounding restaurants/shops for less. Plus the beach is much nicer than the pools there.

Dont know about passes but ive been 18-30 in the past and those things never seem worth it, just barter with the hasslers and get free shots etc. Get yourself to the kings arms, they have good cocktial such as the "knackers", decent price and very strong! Also the guys who work there trying to get you into the bar work down on the beach doing watch sports, get chatting to them in the evening and they sort you out with discounts on ringo's etc (i dare you to try the flying fish... one of the most painful watersports ever.. i have a picture of it if you're tempted!)

aqua marine was a decent bar and the Downtown disco was really cool (if you like cheesy music) Also Status is one of the main clubs playing dance and r'n'b, and the starlight club had just closed when we got there so didnt try that out!

anyway you should have a cracking time there, we did. Hope this helps

I was in Cyprus a while ago and saw those flying fish things your talking about... They looked insane when they hit the waves and went about 50-60ft in the air ... Probably end up on one knowing us lot
