Folks just back from organised trip from Dublin to Sorrento, stayed
in the above hotel - warning - beware! Listed 4 star, more like no star, food non-existent, portions miserable, salad skimpy no selection if late to salad bar, nothing topped up. Breakfast menial, no fruit, no choice of breads (one only- re-heated daily). Food distribution watched over carefullly by Manageress who was like someone running a Borstal. No bar area for evening drinks. A train ride away from Sorrento, one problem train station at top of hill - at least 20 minutes walk from Hotel. Complaints treated with contempt and overall very unpleasant experience. If you are booked - try cancel. Are the folks isolated - anyone else experience Sorrentos equivalent to Cybil Fawlty!
