I've also travelled with Simply in the past, and am sorry to see them leaving the islands. Their old MD has started up Simpson Travel, which may be worth taking a look at - he may be picking up Simply's old jaunts! I've recently returned from Alonissos with Simply - out of interest does that island still feature in their new brochure?

Thanks for the replies. Since I last went with Simply a few years ago I've been to Paxos with Planos, Kosmar and Travel a la Carte and have already re-booked with TalC for next year. We stopped going with Simply purely because after they got taken over by TUI, their prices went up whilst the quality of their service went in the other direction, compared to what they were like as an independent. So sorry Janita, I binned the Simply brochure and don't know if Alonissos is still there. I've looked at Simpsons Travel before, but they mostly feature larger properties which work out massively expensive for 2 people.

Since posting the original question I've been delighted to see that the Stone House is now being sold direct by a very old friend on the paxos-greece.com website. We did like that area between Levrechio and Marmari, so maybe 2007!

If anyone's interested, I've just learnt that the Marmari properties should be in Sunvil's 2006 brochure, although they aren't on their website yet.

there are so many comments about Simply on various Greek web sites its clear you are not the only disappointed ex. client. Laskarina always seem to come out well and last year we travelled with Greek Options who we were very satisfied with, they also feature Paxos so you might like to take a look.

Yes, I wish Laskarina would start going to Paxos. I have a friend who's been going with them for years and raves about them.

I already have a bookmark for Greek Options, but unfortunately they only have properties in Lakka and I prefer to stay in Loggos.
