my mistake here- I have deleted the original post by accident.
Could those still in Goa just now please pm feelthevibe as he has a friend who has been involved in an accident. I'm sure feelthevibe will repost with specific details.
So sorry feelthevibe!

Thanks very much for the replies you truly are a great bunch, what happened is that a friend of mine who came out with me and my family last month decided to stay on in Goa till May, I recieved a phone call from my friend in Vagator telling me that he had come off his scooter and sustained a head injury. Rather stupidly in the euphoria of being in Goa he forgot about his insurance running out
Facing a £400 bill for a Cat scan and hospital treatment, my Goan friend has said he will pay this for him untill he is well enough to re pay it back and that he will look after him at his home untill he is fit enough to travel back to the UK.
My faith in humanity has been restored now, knowing he is in good hands and knowing that I don`t need to travel back to Goa to help him out is a big relief.
Thanks once again to you all ....... Andy
