Hi Angela. We were in Kefalonia (Skala) over the Spring Bank holiday week. We paid 200 euros for a Suzuki Vitara for 4 days. I think you could get something the size of a Focus for about 20-30 euros per day. Jeeps were in demand but you should get a good deal if you hiring for 2 weeks and aren't bothered about a jeep

Thanks for that. Are jeeps on demand cause they are needed over there? Not sure if i should do that instead of a small car then?

Sorry, forgot to say that the price included insurance with no excess. Just check before you hire that your insurance excess isnt really expensive.

There are only a few jeeps on the island so you often can't get hold of one. I've been all over the island in a very small, very old car so you'll be fine with whatever you hire.

Do check the insurance they offer though - I know one firm on the island don't cover for a variety of things so you can be left wide open in terms of a claim. The reps should be able to tell you which ones are best - even if you're not hring through them!
