Returned yesterday from a fabulous 2 week holiday in Alykanas, Zante, we stayed at the Alykanas village which I can not fault. The whole resort is lovely with a great shallow beach, lots of lovely tavernas, bars etc. We tried a different taverna each evening and every meal was good. Travelled with 2 children aged 6 and 9 and both where occupied with play areas in most tavernas, crazy golf, pool tables etc, very relaxing holiday and I would definately recommend.
Also the airport was fine, we even flew home an hour earlier than was due, no problems what so ever.
how expensive was it to eat and drink there?
glad you had fab holiday, have you done a proper holiday review in the hotel section?

We ate quite well while on holiday with a starter costing about 4 euros and then a main meal at about 8 euros, kids meals cost approx 4 euros, most restaurants offer free ice cream for the kids, I tended to drink their local beer (mythos) with was 2.5 to 3 euros, but my hubby drinks cider which ranged from 4 to 5 euro's ( we where getting 140 euros to the pound) English breakfast was approx 6 euro's.
Drinks, ice-cream etc was slightly dearly in the hotel but that is usually normal.
we worked it about at about £25 per day per head, which isn't that bad for all meals etc.
Yes I have submitted a review for the hotel and resort.
