Has anybody stayed in the royal belvedere in hosonosis in crete? If so what is it like, do they have ajoining rooms for families to use, and is it ok for a family of girld, aged 14, 13, and 8.
thanks
I have not stayed at hotel but do know it. It is on the edge of the town and not far from the beach. Do note you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach and Star Beach, they are pedestrian subways available but watch your head when using them.
All the buses start from this location. Also the local roadtrain which takes you up into the hills to visit the local villages. There is also a very good supermarket nearby which is open late.

Hi,
i stayed at the royal belvedere last year. There was 8 of us in total( 5 children from 14 -2). The hotel was great for the children ,the animation team spoke in four different languages to cater for all guests and
worked really hard to keep kids entertained.
Great location as it was right by the water park at star beach and close to the main street but not too close to hear any noise.
We have all booked to go again this july.

Hi all. going to the royal belvedere in july all inclusive they say we have free passes for the waterpark because we are all inclusive does anyone know about this and can you use the royal imperial aswel
hi, as far i remember you dont actually have to pay into star beach but you have to pay to use the larger slides and stuff..you will get these half price if you stay at the belvedere hotels. The hotel also has a courtesy shuttle bus to bring you up and down from the water park which is handy when you are trying to carry all sorts of lilos!
You can also use the imperial belvedere as a guest of the royal belvedere.

Were off on the 15th to the Imperial for 2 weeks with hellenic as well. I paid an extra £125 for a family of four to stay there over the Royal, not sure what you will get better though? Only thing I have seen is mini bar instead of fridge on there website, which may be debatable. But in the scheme of things it did not seem alot anyway.
All looks good so far but I assume a hearty tip up front to the head waiter will smooth the way, speed up and increase drink size as usual in an AI hotel
Only thing not to good is it appears that Viking airlines do not have any in flight entertainment on board, but paid the extra £60 for meals this always helps break up the journey for the kids and me too
See you there
P.S. Save us 4 sunbeds 8 ball

Can we all wear a a badge or carry a rolled up copy of the times or greet each other with "The wind blows cold from the north at this time of year" etc lol
So we can say hello to fellow forum users
Not long for us now. Glad I had the first two weeks of August here in sunny England

Wolfie, I'll be the big Brit with the camera and 2 grandkids (8&11).
My wife swims like a dolphin. Make yourself known and we'll have a bevvy.

Well Wolfie, the kids didn't meet, nor did we, but i think we were all having too good a time of it. 42 degs yesterday, and back home to Yorks where it's not too bad at the moment. Dry but rain forecast for tomorrow.
Most people were of the same mind as my wife and I, we would all go back again.
A short report will be coming, but unfortunately, I'm cream crackered and I have to watch some football - without a beer or Raki.
The bar is now closed for a month and I'm under orders.
Enjoy the rest of your stay Wolfie.
