Hi there, i am about to book flights to milan malpensa airport from Manchester. Can any one give advice on how to get from there to Lake Garda by public transport? I know there is a train station at the airport but don't think there is a direct connection to Garda. Also has anyone any info on flying BA connect?

You will need to change trains in Milan - possibly stations too. Italian State railways have a website that might help - but you'll need to look it up on a search engine as I don't have the address to hand.
Thanks, Booked the flights, we are thinking of staying at desenzano for a few nights, allowing us to visit verona by train. then moving on to Malcesine. Any info on these areas would be welcome
