There are two Levante beach front sites I noticed that must be worth a bit.
One that has been derelict for a while, fenced off and awaiting demolition.
the other consisting of holiday bungalows/apartments still occupied.Bet the owners are holding out for a tidy sum.
I was told a few years ago that when the farmers were allocating land to their sons. The eldest always got the most fertile away from the beach. The youngest got the least fertile sandy plot nearest the beach.Whose laughing now.
There is a beautiful quant old Spanish house which stands alone, just down from the Benimar apartments which I believe are on Calle Emilio Ortuno. (I'm useless with street names).
It looks way out of place now as it's surrounded by "New builds".
I think it is owned by a little old lady.
When we stayed up that way a couple of years ago, my sister and I were discussing that the old lady must have been approached many times by property developers and decided to stay put.
Bet the plot is worth mucha Euros

I don't know if this is true or not, but I was told that the plot of land on Levante where the bungalows are, is owned by the owner of The Benidorm Palace. There is always an advertising board there for the palace. If it is owned by him I couldn't see him needing to sell the land.

Yep, as far as I know that is correct.

There is also a plot of land next to the outdoor market
Between the kiddies fair and the market there is a old rundown shack .
I used to see a man and woman pottering about but the last time i went it looked to be empty.

Anyone know who owns or manages the small old apartments on Levante near to the Hotel Brisa. There's just 4 of them, two ground floor with gardens, and two above with balconies. I usually sunbathe opposite them in Summer.
