Hotel Samos appears to be ok (we stayed there about 10 years ago), other peoples comments on it seem ok, and it`s right next door to BCM.
Oh........and it`s not too far away from Goodfellows

Samos is OK, but sometimes in August is primarily Italian, and during that time I've heard of people complaining about the food, which is normally OK. Not sure if you can book Samos direct.

Mag Park and Trinidad are equally convenient, but are Sol Hotels, and you can book direct, and food is a bit more consistent. Try http://www.solmelia.com

I would highly recommend the Royal Beach Hotel. It's just enough away from the main strip to avoid the noise, but within a 5 minute walk away from all the bars.

Hotel has a great pool and is positioned right on the front. You can book this hotel yourself through medhtels (or other similar companies) and save 100's on booking from the brochure.

The rooms are massive and have a good balcony - all of them overlook the sea. You can stay HB or SC - whichever suits you best.

We had a great time there and hope to go back again some day.
