Hi Banana The weather in April is normally ok but its the month well known to the Portuguese for rain, there is a known saying about it being "the month of a thousand showers" but whether this is true i've yet to experience it.If you have teenage children I would say Albufeira is the resort to go to, lots of night life and a pick between the new town (The Strip) & the old town with its narrow cobbled streets with lots of bars & restaurants.
