I am off to Sinqeurim next Saturday, staying at the Aldeia Santa Rita.
Is it easy to get to Fort Aguada? If so I would like directions.

Head down towards the Taj Holiday Village and when you get to the T-junction, turn left and follow the road all the way up the hill.
Many thanks Gooner fan.
I have already looked in Google Earth yummymummy, it isn't obvious!

Aldelia Santa Rita is next door, where you have your breakfast look over the wall to your right, from the swimming pool on your left, and that is there grounds, it is such a big place that we had a look around it and got lost, we had to ask a security guard to show us the way out, we had been walking around in circles,
We stayed in the Santa Rita, on our first visit to Goa, it is very basic, but the staff are lovely, you will not use the all inclusive part of it, it is a waste of money. but until you have been there you do not know any different

tomitma,
This is my fifth time in Goa, I don't know why I booked AI
but it is now done.
Is Vin Ballet wine and the like included in the AI or is it just port wine?

The all inclusive only covers local beverages, honey bee, kingfisher etc etc, they do charge quite high prices for any thing out side this, but the best bit about the Santa Rita is that they provide a large fridge, and a kettle, for making your own tea coffees, the fridge is restocked every day. We stayed there on our first visit, and we were taken aback by how basic it is, but we have learnt since then, and I would say that it is a very good hotel compared to the rest.
The accomadation is in villas, painted in the portugese way, 4 flats to a villa. There is a beauty saloon on the site, very very cheap also a tailors.

The Aldeia Santa Rita is an excellent hotel and the staff can't do enough for you. The food is that good you won't want to eat anywhere else. Kingfisher is not part of the AI deal but the other beers they serve are just as nice anyway. Tip the waiters each night and they will ake sure you have a fantastic holiday.
MCB and Tomita,
Thanks for that.
Olympic Holidays says "Unlimited locally produced alcoholic drinks including wine, beer" so I was wondering what type os wine there is. Not bothered about Kinfisher - do they do Kings?

I am sure that it is kings, we didn't spend much time at the hotel, breakfasts are self service, and is a fantastic selection of food. But beware of the crows, we were in fits of laughter over there antics, do not leave your plate unattended, we saw loads of people, put there plate on the table to realise they had forgotten some thing, went back to the servery, and by the time they had returned the crows had swooped and there was nothing left on there plates. The crows also love sugar, they could empty a bowl in seconds. but I laughed until the tears ran down my face.
