Hi!
I belive the so called ' Ladies Coupe' carriages were abolished at the end of the 1990s.There are still Ladies waiting rooms on the stations, but otherwise everyone travels together in various classes. We did the trip to Hampi third class a great experience.

hiya we went to mumbai on the train and it was top!! there was about 12 of us from day trippers and we we,r in the 1st class sleeper carriges and i had my daughter with me and we enjoyed every minit of the trip the trains are no problems, men and women are mixed in little side compartments there was 6 i think to a compartment, we wouldnt hesitate to do it again maggieomx
