i have done diy several times to disney and i usually stay at the holiday inn near disneyland , it is available on holiday inns website and the disney shuttle bus goes from the airport and drops off at this hotel ( you can just pay when you get on) also there is a shuttle bus taking you from the hotel to the park this runs very frequently throughout the day and evening
