has any one been to grange field oasis club if so could we have some info on how far to the nearest town and shops and cheap supermarkets is it all taxi rides if so approx how much or do we need to hire a car went to portugal last year it was all taxi rides every where which were quite cheap

I stayed at Grangefield Oasis a couple of years ago. We were pleased that we had a car as there wasn't really anywhere to walk to. Lots of apartment blocks around there and that was about it.
I wouldn't rush back but it's probably fine if you just want a base.

Nearest town is Fuengirola, five miles or so away. You also have the nice village of La Cala, a mile from Grangefield Oasis. Two decent supermarkets on your doorstep - Mas and the Opencor.
Taxi from Grangefield to Fuengirola, approximately 18 euros.
