Not sure about the Hotel, but I know Turgutries quite well.Not a village, but a fairly small town. Enough places to eat that you needn't go to the same one twice if you didn't want to.
Plenty of boats for the boat trips, my favorite is the Islands trip rather than the beaches trip.
A huge weekly market in Turgutries(Saturday I think) But the best thing is that it's very close to other nice places you could visit just by jumping on a Dolmus. You really should explore Gumusluk both in the day time -VERY interesting and peacful and beautiful and also in the evening for a awesome meal (My favorite place to eat is Mimosa). Also explore Bodrum, plenty to see there.
