This was my first holiday with National, and I was very concerned when I read reviews of this hotel prior to going. I travelled with my 78 year old mother. We had a twin room, a bit dated but very clean and extra pillows and blankets just incase we needed them. The room initially was meant for a disabled person so it was difficult for us to use the bath as there were so many handles etc. I informed reception and they changed us to another room without any problems.
The food was faultless, however, there was a lack of staff in the dining rooms, so tables not always set when we went in for out sitting. However, there was 7 coach parties staying at the same time, so it was not surprising. Lovely gym, sauna and Jacuzzi, all in with the price of the holiday, so I had a lovely swim each morning prior to breakfast.
There was entertainment each night in the shape of bingo, quiz and on two nights there was a group. We had a trip to a different place each day and would recommend the whole holiday to anyone.
