Hello - we visited the Alto Da Colina last year and absolutely loved it - I know First Choice are making it into a Holiday Village for this season - we overlooked the building of the new block last year! We want to book again for June this year - does anyone have any inside info as to whether the building work will be completely finished - in the brochure they show new pools both at the new block and a change on the lower pool. Any info before I book would be great - I know I can contact First Choice but I would rather see whether anyone had any first hand knowledge first!

In my experience, from reading various posts on this forum I'd be dubious about going early season to accommodation that is being upgraded or has building work. However, hopefully someone will be able to confirm that the work is actually finished. Good luck
