Blonde question!!

Hi, I am going to Tunisia in 3 weeks time, I know this may be a stupid question but is the E11 card valid there if anything happens or am I just being blonde?

The E111 has been replaced by the EHIC which is valid for EEA countries plus Switzerland. So it doesn't cover Tunisia. Though as Tunisia is included on lots of European travel insurance policies, it's not a totally blonde question!
