Just returned from a break stayed at the 4* California Palace Hotel in the older part of Salou.
As the title says there is building work going on at the rear of the hotel.
Cant fault the hotel, staff very friendly if you take the time to chat to them.Rooms have a fridge and are cleaned every day,and fresh towels placed in the well equiped bathroms.
Food was good,plenty of it.Have not seen a desert ,sweets and cake selection like it in a hotel,plus plenty of fresh fruits.
Facilities at hotel include a gym,spa and television room.
Taxi back from the bar area of Salou was around 6.50 after midnight.
with a start tarif of 3.75.
