Hi. I have just booked the hotel Costa caleta for next christmas and new year and it looks lovely. I have been in contact with a lady on another forum who went in november and she is returning soon to the hotel and she said it is lovely. I have asked if she will ask the hotel if they do anything special at xmas. We went for the xmas and new year for the millenium and loved it and there were plenty of shops and bars opened. We went self catering then but the prices for all-inclusive are good at this hotel and the accommodation is new so we opted for that board basis. There are quite a few lively bars and a nice square with bars. I am sure it will have been developed more since 1999/2000 when we went though. This hotel is in a good spot.
