can anyone help me please, well atcually not me, my friend and her family
They are off to France this sunday, they are going by ferry from new haven and want a campsite in vendee area.
Time is running out, and her hubby hasnt booked any where to stay as yet, the campsite he'd hoped to book is full.
Does anyone have any suggestions or know a good camp site in this area.

Some friends of mine are based at Les Prairies du Lac, Apremont. This is ten miles or so to the east of Challans.
They assist in site management and may be able to help.

We stayed at the Prairie camp site. Right on the coast just North of St Hilaire/Croix de Vie. A big site about a 10 minute walk from the beach. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next year and stayed 3 weeks.
