Fowlers bar

Fowlers is in the old part of Cala Dor, looking down on the Marina. It is one of the oldest hotels in Cala Dor and its bar is open to non-residents. It is decorated in a most unusual style - look at the interior on the website . It is not the sort of place you would go if you have children, or if you are looking for a lively spot. It is very sedate - you can sit on the terrace and enjoy champagne cocktails, or some evenings there is a pianist in the bar. It is not a bar in the traditional sense, but a hotel whose bar is open to non-residents.
The champagne cocktails are expensive but powerful - one's not enough, two is definetly too many! Drinks for kids can be expensive - we went one evening with 3 quiet children and we ordered cocktails for ourselves. The kids then said that they wanted "Mocktails". They had two each because they were thirsty after a long walk in the heat of the early evening. The drinks round for the kids cost 32 euros! We nearly fell. So, apart from being a place that is quiet and not really suitable for kids, it also could be a tad expensive!
All said and done, if you like a quiet relaxing drink in a quite classy little bar, this may be the place for you. :D
