hi can anyone tell me if they have been to sharm with last minute .com 5* allocation on arrivel if so what was this like am looking to go in jan and with money tight this best deal but worried about hotel
and also what type of weather temps in jan going from about the 29 jan 10

Weather wise the temperature should be around the mid 20's during the day and a bit cooler at night so you will need a jumper / cardigan.

Sorry I can't help with your Lastminute.com question but will say that choosing a 5* hotel is the best option when going allocated on arrival.
You might wish to ask a general allocated on arrival question about Lastminute.com on the Tour Operators and Travel Agents forum and see if you can get an answer from others that have perhaps done this with them to other destinations? http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=43&start=0
