We stayed in September it was OK, there are better hotels in Santa Ponsa. The hotel next door shades a lot of the sun terrace and a noisy bar over the road til very Late. Had a good hol but no rush to go back. CBG

Thanks for that CBG - Has anyone else got a view re this Hotal? The reviews on this and other web sites always seem to be favourable but having read what Calabonagirl has said I am no so confident in my choice.

Have you had a look at my hubby's photos in the Santa Ponsa album on this site? There is a photo of the Playas del Rey showing the hotel next door, sun terrace is very small and problems with reserved beds even in shady areas. We went September 06 for the Fiestas ,which were fab. If you want any more detailed info send me a pm and I will let try and help. Sorry if I have put you off. CBG
